This course must be scheduled through the IEP process.

Integrated Math is designed to improve basic math skills in order to help students be more successful in High School level math courses. Students eligible for this course have been recommended by their teachers based on previous math assessment scores and ability. Topics covered include computation, solving equations, and graphing.

Integrated English

This course must be scheduled through the IEP process.

Integrated English students will learn and apply language arts skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening according to their individual ability level. Spelling, vocabulary, and grammar units will also be incorporated throughout the curriculum to support student literacy skills. This course is aimed at developing the language arts skills students will need to be successful in the workforce. As such, students will receive direct teacher instruction, collaborative learning, and opportunities to use technology.

Enrichment

This course must be scheduled through the Gifted Individualized Education Program (GIEP) Process.

This course is designed to satisfy the needs to gifted learners who maintain the capacity to learn at faster rates, more in-depth and with greater complexity; the capacity to find, solve, and act on problems more readily; and the capacity to manipulate abstract ideas and make connections. Enrichment will be offered in regular education classes with specifically designed instruction relating to the GIEP goal(s) that tailor the student’s instructional needs by the Regular Education and Enrichment Teachers.
